Description

Sir Donald Bradman is the most revered and highly regarded name in the history of cricket. In 1948, “The Don” finished his career with the highest test batting average the game has ever seen – 99.94.

To celebrate this incredible career, Slazenger – **along with the endorsement of The Bradman Museum** – produced a strictly limited quantity of this high class memorabilia in honour of The Don’s introduction to First Grade cricket.

This extremely rare piece of memorabilia is plaque number 13 of just 200 to ever be produced. Of course, the drawcard to this elegant piece of memorabilia is the genuine St George CC cap – an exact replica to the one in which Bradman was presented on the day of his debut in the Sydney First Grade competition. However, the “Bradman of St George” also features a hand-signed photo of Bradman wearing his St George CC cap, along with another photo of him in action, and some other information and statistics from The Don’s career.

This incredible piece of history comes beautifully custom boxed and framed, and would quickly become the focal point of any office or pool room.

Size: 960mm (L) x 820mm (W) x 100mm (D), and weighs approximately 12kg.

** PLEASE NOTE **

Sir Donald Bradman’s name has been trademarked by The Bradman Museum, meaning only products that have been endorsed by them are permitted to be re-sold. As mentioned above, this piece – as well as all other genuine ‘Bradman Collection’ pieces of memorabilia – were all endorsed by The Bradman Museum prior to their production.
